As summer comes to a close, we want to thank you for standing with Center for Domestic Peace. Thanks to your support, survivors and their families found safety, healing, and hope while our team continued to strengthen prevention efforts and community partnerships throughout Marin County.
🟣 NEW: Expanded Services for Human Trafficking Survivors
Thanks to a new grant from the Brewster West Foundation, Center for Domestic Peace has expanded specialized services for survivors of human trafficking, including advocacy, emergency shelter, therapy, legal support, and case management. This investment is helping us meet a growing need in our community while strengthening the continuum of care available to survivors experiencing both domestic violence and human trafficking. Impact of Our Expanded Human Trafficking Services
Since July 2025, Center for Domestic Peace has provided comprehensive, trauma-informed support through our expanded human trafficking survivor program, helping survivors find safety, healing, and stability.
·    35 survivors of human trafficking received specialized services and support.
·    99 hotline calls from trafficking survivors or concerned community members were answered, providing crisis intervention, information, referrals, and safety planning.
·    398 safe shelter bed nights were provided to trafficking survivors seeking safety and stability.
·    67 legal advocacy sessions helped survivors understand their rights, navigate complex systems, and access legal protections.
·     37 case management sessions connected survivors with housing, benefits, healthcare, employment resources, and ongoing support.
·    35 therapy sessions provided survivors with trauma-informed counseling and emotional support on their healing journey.
